EU & European Terms & Conditions — Equineware™ Ireland

These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made on equineware.com by customers located in the European Union (EU) and European Economic Area (EEA).
By placing an order on our website, you agree to these terms.

3. Products & Availability

We make every effort to ensure that:

  • Ingredients and usage information are clearly stated

  • Pricing is correct

  • Stock levels are updated

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue products at any time.


4. Prices & Payments

All prices are displayed in Euro (€) and include VAT where applicable.

Accepted payment methods include:

  • Any payment option displayed at checkout

Payments are processed securely by third-party providers.
We do not store your card or payment details.


5. Order Acceptance

Your order is accepted when you receive a shipping confirmation email.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, for example due to:

  • Suspicious or fraudulent activity

  • Stock unavailability

  • Incorrect pricing or product information

In such cases, a full refund will be issued.


6. Delivery & Shipping (EU & EEA)

We deliver orders using An Post and its international partners.

Delivery Times

  • Ireland: 1–3 business days

  • EU/EEA countries: 3–7 business days

These timelines are estimates and may vary due to customs, postal delays, or peak periods.

Tracking

All orders include tracking where available.

Customs & Duties

For orders outside Ireland:

  • The customer is responsible for any customs duties or import taxes

  • Equineware™ is not responsible for delays caused by customs inspections


7. Right of Withdrawal (EU 14-Day Return Rule)

Under EU law, consumers have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days without giving a reason.

Conditions:

  • The product must be unused, unopened, and in original condition

  • You must notify us before returning the product

  • A Return Authorisation Number (RAN) must be issued before sending items back

  • Customer pays return shipping under the EU withdrawal rule

Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days of receiving the returned item.

8. Damaged or Incorrect Items

Under EU consumer law, you are entitled to a replacement or refund for:

  • Damaged goods

  • Incorrect items

  • Goods not as described

Timeframe:

You must report damage or incorrect items within 3 days of delivery.

In these cases:

  • We cover all return and replacement shipping costs

  • A replacement or full refund will be provided


9. Product Usage & Safety

Our products are for leather care only.
Do not apply to skin, animals, synthetic materials, suede, or nubuck.
Always patch test before full use.

Equineware™ Ireland is not responsible for:

  • Damage caused by misuse

  • Application to unsuitable materials

  • Saddle fit issues

  • Rider safety outcomes unrelated to product performance


10. Warranty

Equineware™ products are covered by our Product Guarantee, which includes:

  • Manufacturing defects

  • Damaged or faulty packaging

  • Incorrect shipments

This guarantee is valid for 30 days from delivery.
It does not affect your statutory EU consumer rights.


11. Privacy & Data Protection

We comply with:

  • General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

  • Irish Data Protection Acts

  • Why we collect it

  • How it is stored

  • Your rights under GDPR

Data is processed lawfully, transparently, and securely.


12. Intellectual Property

All content on equineware.com—including text, logos, images, and product descriptions—is the intellectual property of Equineware™ Ireland.

Use of any material without permission is prohibited.


13. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Equineware™ Ireland is not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages

  • Loss resulting from website downtime

  • Improper use of our products

  • Incorrect application to leather

This does not limit liability for:

  • Fraud

  • Negligence causing physical damage

  • Any right protected under EU or Irish law


14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by:

  • Irish law

  • EU consumer protection law

  • The Irish courts have exclusive jurisdiction

Nothing in this document affects your statutory rights.
